For its graduate students, Boston College Placements has a respectable record. 94% of the class of '19 students ended up with jobs. More than 90% of graduate students who were looking for work found it within four months of graduation. Google, Microsoft, PWC, Bain Capital, Deloitte Consulting, GE, Ernst & Young, and Teach for America are the top employers of Boston College graduates. Boston College students were placed in a variety of sectors, including investment banking, technology & science, and accounting. The department works hard to place its graduate students, particularly those who have completed their PhD degrees, in positions that are suitable for them. We have, thankfully, had a good deal of success. The University of Notre Dame, Emory University, Michigan State University, Marquette University, the University of Dallas, Kenyon College, St. John's College, etc have all hired PhD students from the department for tenured or tenure-track positions.
