Biola University acceptance rate stands at 57% for the 2024 intake. This placed the university among the 19% of the most difficult universities to gain admission in the United States. 

The school accepted 61% of applicants in 2023. This reflected a high acceptance rate. It welcomed 51-100% of all students who applied during the 2021-2022 academic year. The school retained 88% of its full-time students, as those who enrolled in Fall 2020 continued studies in Fall 2021. Out of the full-time students that began in Fall 2015, 70% graduated from the institution.

 

Biola University Entry Requirements

Biola University is a selective institution with an acceptance rate of 70% and admission requirements vary depending on the programme of study. Applications are accepted for the Fall and Spring semester. The admissions committee considers a range of factors when making admission decisions, including academic performance, extracurricular activities, and personal qualities. Undergraduate Requirements

• Application fee of $45
• Applicants have to be believers in the Christian faith
• The applicants must have at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA in high school
• The applicant should have a 26 reading test score on the new SAT pattern
• ACT score of 19 to be considered for admission

 

Graduate Requirements

• Application fee of $65
• Transcripts sent directly from the institution or through electronic medium or physical
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (83-86%)
• A competitive GRE score is required if the GPA is less than 3.5 on a scale of 4.0 (89-90%)
