Program Overview

Students will build and keep their own Drone, as well as learn how to fly and safely operate it.
There will be opportunities for students to go on field trips and conduct real Drone missions.
You will have use of Wrexham Glyndŵr University’s Advanced Composite Manufacturing and Testing Facilities, as well as our Drone Simulator and Flight-Test Field.
Enjoy access to the latest computational software for engineering design and image analysis.
There is also the chance to participate in the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) UAS Challenge where teams design, build and operate UAS in an annual international competition.
