Program Overview

This course provides an opportunity for those whose first degree is not Computing (or whose computing degree was awarded some time ago), to study at a postgraduate level.
We provide you with specialist, technical skills in the areas of networking, web and mobile development, or professional issues and professional practice.
Our graduates are skilled practitioners; throughout their time with us, they develop an advanced understanding of, and competence with, the hardware and software available and/or needed for the development and use of computer systems.
You will have the support of research-active experts who will enable you to access, critically appraise and disseminate research results.
Lectures, tutorials and practical sessions are enhanced with additional, resource-rich, online materials to support your independent learning.
The course will provide you with a sound basis for further research and/or professional development.

Entry Requirement
The standard entry requirement for the MSc programme is an honours degree of at least 2:2 classification, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a subject other than Computer Science. In some cases applicants with substantial commercial or industrial experience can be accepted, subject to interview and references.
Fees & Scholarships
The fees for MSc Computing may vary from £12,000 to £25,000 annually for tuition fees. The fee's prices may get higher for International Students.
