• Please note: A-level General Studies and A-level Critical Thinking are not accepted.

• GCSE or equivalent: English Language and Mathematics at Grade C(4) (or equivalent).

Minimum standard in English and mathematics

If you are applying for an undergraduate course at Surrey, you must meet our minimum standards for English and mathematics.

English:
 

• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard XII , English 70% from CBSE or ISC exam boards 

• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard XII, English 80% from the majority of Indian state boards (excluding Andhra Pradesh/Telangana/U.P/Bihar/Gujrat/Punjab).

Mathematics:
 

• Standard XII, Mathematics Pass

• All India Secondary School Examination, C2

• Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination, 6.

Some courses may require higher grades in English and mathematics and/or additional subjects, so please check the requirements provided on individual course pages.

English language requirements:
 

• IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in each other element.

The fees for BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science (with foundation year and professional training) may vary from £15,000 to £25,000 annually for tuition fees. The fee's prices may get higher for International Students.

There are associated costs with this course:
 

• Safety equipment and/or uniform: £86 – the equipment pack includes laboratory coat, laboratory glasses, laboratory book, pen and padlock. The exercise kit includes t-shirt, polo shirt and shorts. You are also responsible for the costs associated with maintaining/washing your kit.
