All Q-Step degrees include and recognise student placements as an essential component. They are created to help students build important employability skills and experience dealing with quantitative data and methodologies in professional organisations.

Placements are a required and credit-bearing component of the degree programme. Following the conclusion of the second year of the degree programme, the placement will take place in the summer. University of Warwick placements will last for three weeks. The University pays students on time and in full. The precise amount of compensation is still to be determined.
