The programme provides students with an opportunity to study for an award explicitly focused on future employability and career progression.The programme provides a strong focus on skills for the workplace, that is, on the development of a valuable transferable skill set that is relevant to all workplaces.Employability skills include business and customer awareness, problem solving, communication, research skills, application of information technology and embracing a positive attitude to learning. These skills are embedded within the programmes and are transferable, enabling students to progress to a range of career paths both while on the course or after graduating.
