Overview
About
The University Of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD), founded in 2010, is a public higher education and research institution with multiple campuses. The institution was established under the Lampeter royal charter of 1828 as a result of the merger of Trinity University College and the University of Wales. In 2013, the university merged with Swansea Metropolitan University.
UWTSD has three main campuses located throughout South West Wales (Lampeter, Carmarthen, and Swansea). Modern teaching, learning, and research facilities, such as large classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and art studios, are available on each campus. The Trinity Saint David building, which is centrally located on the Lampeter campus, is the oldest structure on the campus and houses administrative offices, lecture rooms, and student residences. Though the Carmarthen campus is centred on Trinity College's old building, it is surrounded by sweeping gardens and lawns. The university chapel lounge, which houses the chaplaincy library and community meeting spaces, is located on campus. The Swansea Campus is home to the Yr Athrofa: Institute of Education, the Business School, and the Faculty of Architecture, Engineering, and Computing.
Students will have the opportunity to explore and experience one of the world's most vibrant and dynamic cities while studying at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David London. The London campus is located in Kennington Business Park and offers international students a variety of business, management, and information technology programmes.
- 300+ courses spread across three institutes
- Small class sizes
The university has a long list of notable alumni, including Dewi Bebb (Rugby Player), Jonathan Clements (Author and Scriptwriter), Juliette Foster (Journalist and TV News Presenter), Barry John (Rugby Player), Peter Paphides (Journalist and Broadcaster), and Rebecca Wheatley (British Actress and Musician).
