• a Certificate of Good Conduct from the domicile police force is required. This is then superseded by a DBS check which must be obtained by the student six months after starting the course.
• In addition, an Occupational Health check will be undertaken by the University Occupational Health partner. If required, the health check documentation is sent externally to an independent GP contacted by the University for approval. Students will be asked to complete and sign two self-declaration forms prior to admission and at the beginning of each academic year, one declaring good health and the other personal good conduct. No student will be allowed on placement without the completion of the requisite documentation.
