The University of St Mark & St John placement team is called Futures. It offers student-centred, expert advice on enterprise, employability skills, and career development learning in addition to contributing to the curriculum. Futures supports experiential learning through placements, work experience, part-time jobs, and international opportunities. It also supports business and enterprise development, funding for opportunities, and guidance for career development and the acquisition of essential employability skills.

 

 The university also provides a variety of foreign options such as study abroad, international research, and the Camp America programme. Futures supports the university’s values of curiosity and ambition. The placement team have digital services as well. It includes digital information, counsel, and support via the web to assist the work of the Futures team and the larger community. The university also motivates students to opt for volunteering as this helps them gain experience and also build a strong CV.
