You'll study two compulsory modules covering the fundamentals in statistics, which provide the basis for the remaining optional modules. These include, amongst others:
 

• Statistical Machine Learning
• Statistical Modelling
• Time Series and Forecasting
   

This course gives you the flexibility to tailor the degree to your interests and career aspirations.
 

You will develop advanced statistical skills and knowledge which will enable you to test theories, learn how to interpret large and complex data, and to extract relevant insights from it. The masters will enable you to develop computing skills in using R too.

Undergraduate degree

A high 2:2 (or international equivalent) in mathematics or a closely related subject with substantial mathematical content.

International and EU equivalents

6.0 (no less than 5.5 in each element)
 

Portfolio

Some prior knowledge of statistics would be helpful but not essential to start the course.

The fees for Statistics MSc may vary from £22,000 to £32,000 annually for tuition fees. The fee's prices may get higher for International Students.
