Program Overview

Our MA Digital Teaching and Learning course aims to strengthen your understanding of learning in the digital age and explore how digital technology can transform the teaching and learning experience.

This course increases your knowledge of digital technologies as resources for learning. You will evaluate the use of such technologies in educational contexts and assess how new learning technology can be implemented at a variety of levels in both formal and informal education.

You will also analyse contemporary ideas and theories about learning from both cognitive and socio-cultural perspectives, then consider these against the wider social debates that impact on technology enhanced learning.

Course Content
The taught element of the course is made up of 120 credits, plus a 60-credit dissertation. It can be completed over one year full-time, or two years part-time, plus an eight-month dissertation. There are PGDip and PGCert exit points.
