• A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in a relevant subject area such as sports science, sports therapy, strength and conditioning, sport coaching, physiotherapy or sports and exercise nutrition;
• An honours degree in another discipline that includes physiology, anatomy or biomechanics. 
• an ability to cope with the demands of the programme and study at level 7 (MSc level) 
• a minimum of one year’s work experience in the strength, conditioning and rehabilitation industry or a related sector and/or relevant professional body accreditation 
• an ability to write and present work coherently and to present a sound argument, supported by relevant literature and academic research
• the personal drive and commitment to undertake the programme
