A good honours degree from a recognised university (typically a 2:2 or higher) in Geography, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, Economics, Archaeology or a similar subject.

Candidates with other professional/industrial experience or qualifications will be considered for the PgDip programme, with a view to progressing to the full MSc programme subject to satisfactory performance in the first 120 credits.

Overall score 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, 21 for listening, 22 for reading and 23 for speaking.

In addition, a degree form Camborne School of Mines will teach the necessary technical skills and theoretical knowledge required, as well as additional complementary skills relating to communications, teamwork and problem solving. A foundation of geomatics based knowledge is then supplemented by elements of minerals and land management, project management, relevant law, contamination and site investigation.
