Pre-sessional Courses

Available for improving English language skills to the required standard. Valid for 2 years before the start of the program. 

Pre-sessional Scores & IELTS Equivalents: PSE 70 (IELTS 7.0), PSE 65 (IELTS 6.5), down to PSE 50 (IELTS 5.0).

INTO University of Exeter Courses

Completing a pre-sessional course meets progression requirements, eliminating the need for an additional IELTS or equivalent test.

Postgraduate

Nationals from Majority English-speaking Countries

May be accepted without an English qualification if they demonstrate an adequate understanding of written and spoken English.

Countries Included: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the USA.

Exemptions

Given to those who completed a full degree in a majority English-speaking country within two years before their intended postgraduate program start.

Also for degrees awarded by UK institutions with overseas campuses, on a 2+2 basis, or for Masters in the UK.
