You obtain a thorough grounding in the fields of modern history and international relations, and will explore how these disciplines influence one another. You take introductory modules in international relations and politics alongside your history modules in your first year, and continue to combine modules in modern history and international relations in your second and third years. There is a range of options to choose from in both departments and you choose to write your final-year dissertation in either politics or history.

Entry Requirement
- 60% in Indian year 10 (Standard X) Mathematics or 40% in Indian year 12 (Standard XII) Mathematics, in addition to the below.
Award of the Indian year 12 (Standard XII) examination with an overall average from the four best subject (excluding PE and local language):
- CBSE, CISCE and other regional and national boards - 70%
- Karnataka (Bangalore), Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh boards - 60%
- Kolkata (West Bengal board) - 55%
- In order to meet our English language requirements we can accept 70% in English from Year 12 (Standard XII) if taken with CBSE or CISCE board.
