The assessment methods used in this course include :

• essays
• creative work (optional)
• weekly journals
• presentations
• dissertations
• projects
   

Creative work may be submitted for some assessments, but the course does not assume or require any creative skills.
 

Dissertations and projects are supervised on a one-to-one basis giving you the opportunity to work on an area of comics study or creation of your own choosing (subject to approval by the tutor).

• Autobiographix: Documentary and Autobiographical Comics (CG50008)

Dentistry, Health Sciences, and Social Work courses only accept UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) as proof of English language.

If you hold a conditional offer and you have not yet met the English entry requirements for a degree course at the University, we can help you with our pre-sessional English courses.

If you do not meet our academic grade requirements for your chosen course, we can offer you an alternative route to begin your studies. Our international incorporated degrees will develop your subject knowledge, academic English and university level study skills.

Tuition fees for International students will increase by no more than 5% per year for the length of your course.

We host guest speakers, giving you networking opportunities, and you will meet industry professionals and comics scholars. There are sometimes opportunities to be involved in the organising of events, and there is the possibility of arranging internships.
