At Level 3 you choose from either a Human Geography or a Physical Geography combination of core modules.

• Introduction to Geography Part 2: Environment, the City and Society (GE12002)

Level 2

• Dynamic Physical Worlds: Earth, Water and Ice (GE22002)

Level 3

• Data Handling and Statistics (GE32021)

Level 4

• Dissertation (GE41006)

Only accept UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) as proof of English language.

Pre-sessional English for international students
If you hold a conditional offer and you have not yet met the English entry requirements for a degree course at the University, we can help you with our pre-sessional English courses.

If you do not meet our academic grade requirements for your chosen course, we can offer you an alternative route to begin your studies. Our international incorporated degrees will develop your subject knowledge, academic English and university level study skills.

Tuition fees for International students will increase by no more than 5% per year for the length of your course.

Unfortunately, failure to pay additional costs may result in limitations on your student experience.

Studies by the Royal Geographical Society show that Geography degrees are an excellent basis for developing the wider graduate skills and attributes that many employers value: problem solving, IT and communication, analysis, and working with partners. Our students are also successful in securing places and funding for advanced postgraduate degrees.
 

Equally, many of our graduates build careers in areas that draw directly on the specialist geographical knowledge and skills they develop through their degree. Areas of employment include:
 

• land and water management
• development and environmental consultancies
• housing and social welfare organisations
• local and central government
• tourism and conservation
• the geospatial industry, using GIS or satellite remote sensing
