The core modules in the first two years of this degree are common to all economics MA or BSc degrees, with only two in each year in Economics. This means you can switch between the three economics degree pathways (Economics, Business Economics with Marketing, Financial Economics) during this time, either as single or joint Honours.

Dentistry, Health Sciences, and Social Work courses only accept UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) as proof of English language.

If you hold a conditional offer and you have not yet met the English entry requirements for a degree course at the University, we can help you with our pre-sessional English courses.

If you do not meet our academic grade requirements for your chosen course, we can offer you an alternative route to begin your studies. Our international incorporated degrees will develop your subject knowledge, academic English and university level study skills.

Tuition fees for International students will increase by no more than 5% per year for the length of your course.
 

Additional costs:

Unfortunately, failure to pay additional costs may result in limitations on your student experience.

We can see graduates of economics carving out successful careers in marketing, sales, and business development, across all sectors and industries. And in other business support departments such as HR, recruitment, personnel, training/development. This is due to the wide and varied education.
 

Large numbers also choose to work in the public sector, local and national Governments, and third sector organisations. And numbers very much growing towards sustainability-related roles and other roles in environmental areas of business.
