The apprenticeships in Social Work at University Centre Shrewsbury (UCS) and Warrington are taught through a learner centred, blended approach which is specifically designed to support you to develop the skills, knowledge and values essential in Social Work.

Your programme will include a mix of online and face-to-face lectures, small experiential group learning, reading, activities and tasks outside of lecture time. You will also undertake placements and practice skills in your local authority, in your own and other workplaces.
