Program Overview

The events sector is one of the most dynamic and exciting business sectors. Our International Event Management degree will equip you with the knowledge, practical skills and experience needed to professionally manage events in a variety of areas.

You’ll benefit from industry guest speakers from companies and organisations that stage events, such as Harley Davidson and the Brighton Centre. Plus field trips to a wide range of event spaces, such as Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour, Wimbledon, London’s Olympic Park, Tulleys Shocktober Fest, Christmas Festivals, Brighton Dome and ExCeL London. You'll gain practical experience to plan and execute your own event, and the optional placement year is an excellent opportunity to build contacts and gain an advantage in the job market.

Entry Requirement
A-levels or BTEC
- Entry requirements are in the range of A-level BBB–BCC (120–104 UCAS Tariff points), or BTEC Extended Diploma DMM–MMM. Our conditional offers typically fall within this range.
International Baccalaureate
- 26 points, with three subjects at Higher level.
Access to HE Diploma
- Pass with 60 credits overall. At least 45 credits at level 3, with 24 credits at merit.
Foundation degree/HND/HNC
- May enable you to start the course in year 2 or 3. Contact the course team for specific requirements.
English language requirements
- IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each element.
