Placements

A University of Essex placement enables students to get additional understanding about a specific industry, business, or job role and apply their academic learning in a real-world setting, offering ideas for their future career. Work experience at an organisation is very important as part of a degree programme in order for students to get professional experience and distinguish themselves from the competition when seeking jobs in the future. During the placement, learning and experience come together to form an integrated whole where academic studies and practical work complement one another. Employers are impressed if a student can demonstrate their ability to apply knowledge of the subject to add value commercially and to complete difficult projects on time and under budget.

As part of a two-year Master’s degree at Essex, the university students get a special opportunity to obtain professional job experience inside a company or organisation of their choice. Every course offers students the chance to exercise newly learned abilities and build a network of business professionals. A placement makes a valuable contribution to a student’s employability by equipping them with the skills employers value in graduates. Professional experiences help students see the world and the subject they choose from new angles.

Finances

Most international students are obligated to show proof of sufficient funds in order to obtain a visa. While some students may have the opportunity to make use of scholarships, not all students cut the eligibility to get a scholarship or a grant. Moreover, not all scholarships cover 100% of your study abroad expenses. At such times, most students resort to acquiring education loans to avoid the financial hassles associated with studying at the university. For Indian students, UniCreds is the ideal abroad education loan marketplace if you’re looking for low-interest rates and free consultation services!
