Sheffield Hallam University is located in the English county of South Yorkshire. It is one of the world's most popular and the 11th largest university in the United Kingdom, enrolling over 30,000 students from over 100 countries. The university is spread out across two campuses. They have a city campus near the Sheffield Railway Station in the city centre and a collegiate campus about 2 miles away in the Broomhall Estate off Ecclesall Road in southwest Sheffield. There are 30 research centres, including the Art and Design Research Centre, and the Biomedical Research Centre. The state-of-the-art Sheffield Hallam University facilities are based in Sheffield’s Innovation District. Students can use the building's pilot-scale production facilities, laboratories, and workshops, which are powered and managed by a fully-equipped industry-standard plant room. The centre provides world-class facilities for partners and students to conduct research and innovation in order to support and promote the UK's position at the forefront of the global food and beverage system. There is a free bus shuttle service that transports students and members of the academic community from one campus to another. Using the bus shuttles, the campuses are only 10 minutes apart. Students can learn anywhere on campus with full Wi-Fi coverage, a variety of specialist IT facilities, and access to various services the school provides. There are 70 teaching laboratories with data projection, sound systems, visualisers, interactive whiteboards, iPads, tablets, laptops, voting systems, and other amenities.
