Construction Management With Building Information Modelling MSc Dual Award With EI CESI

The first semester at Northumbria consists of taught modules in English, while the year-long programme at EI.CESI includes taught modules in French, work experience (likely to be in a French organisation), and the completion of a professional practice thesis.

At Northumbria our teaching methods include lectures, small group seminars, workshops, masterclasses and field visits. As this is a Masters course there is a significant element of independent learning and self-motivated reflection. The taught modules are assessed by a combination of assignments, written reports, exams, group presentations and debates, enabling you to test your skills in ways that relate to current industrial practice.

In the Professional Practice Thesis module, you will undertake a piece of analytical, reflective academic research relevant to the core philosophy of the dual award programme and related to construction professional practice. Your thesis will be supervised by CESI staff, with close mentoring from the organisation with which you will be working.

Please note that whilst some of this course is taught in English, there is the requirement for students to have a good working knowledge of French.
