Compulsory Modules
 

• Fundamentals of Research
• Health Statistics
• Evaluative Methods in Health Services Research
• Introduction to systematic reviewing and critical appraisal
• Dissertation (FT)

Academic entry requirements
 

• A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in a medical, health or social sciences discipline. You can also apply if you have successfully completed the fourth year of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course, or equivalent.
• If you have a different background you will be considered on an individual basis. If you have non-standard qualifications then you will be invited to an interview.

English Language requirements
Direct Entry: IELTS 7.0 overall (with at least 7.0 in writing and 5.5 in all other subskills)

Tuition fee increases
If your studies last longer than one year, your tuition fee may increase in line with inflation.

You'll complete the course with the skills to proceed with a PhD or start. You may choose to develop your career in public health and health services or related areas.
