All undergraduate degrees give students the option to complete a placement year, which consists of 45 weeks of professional-level work experience with one or more organisations. Approximately 1,700 Loughborough students complete a placement each year, typically during their second to last year of studies. Every year, 150 students complete their placements overseas.
