Year 1 modules include:
 

• International Business Strategy with Simulation (core, 20 credits)
• International Project Management Practice (core, 20 credits)
• Operations and Technology Management (core, 20 credits)
• Strategic Programme, Portfolio and Project Management (core, 20 credits)
• Business Consultancy Project-portfolio assessment (alternative core, 60 credits)
• Dissertation (alternative core, 60 credits)
• Professional Development and Work Placement (alternative core, 60 credits)
• Data Warehousing and Big Data (option, 20 credits)
• Digital Marketing and Social media (option, 20 credits)
• Economics of International Trade (option, 20 credits)
• Environmental Economics and Investment (option, 20 credits)
• International Corporate Finance (option, 20 credits)
• International Logistics (option, 20 credits)
• Leading and Developing People (option, 20 credits)
• Sustainability in Global Companies (option, 20 credits)

You will be required to have:
 

• a minimum of a lower second class (2.2) honours degree from a UK or recognised international university or another equivalent international qualification or an acceptable professional qualification equivalent such as the CMI, CIM, CIMA, at level 6 or above

Following the review of applications candidates may be required to attend a selection interview.

Additionally, there may be other activities that are not formally part of your course and not required to complete your course, but which you may find helpful (for example, optional field trips). The costs of these are additional to your tuition fee and the fees set out above and will be notified when the activity is being arranged.

On graduation you’ll be able to make a significant contribution within any business environment, at an individual level and as a member of a team. This would typically be in the managerial pursuits that may include strategic planning, project management, quality, risk and other related business areas.
