Originally developed at the University in the 1950s, the Foundation Diploma is a well-respected and nationally recognised qualification. This intensive one-year course challenges your preconceptions and stretches your art and design practices through problem-solving, idea generation, and critical thinking.

Entry Requirement
- Successful completion of the Standard XII with at least 55% (awarded by a recognised Board of Higher Secondary Education)
- A Secure English Language test (SELT) – SELT IELTS for UKVI: Overall score of 5.0 with no component below 4.5
- A Reference to support your application from an academic teacher, tutor, or counsellor
- A short portfolio (application images) to demonstrate your interest and ability in art, design, and/ or technology.
