International College Portsmouth (ICP) Entry Requirements:

Admission is primarily based on academic performance and supporting documentation. The minimum requirement for UG applicants is 75% in Class XII, whereas the minimum requirement for PG applicants is 55% to 60% in UG degree courses. International students applying to the University of Portsmouth must go through the same application process as domestic students. The following are the additional International College Portsmouth (ICP) entry requirements that international students must meet:

All international students who wish to be admitted to the International College Portsmouth (ICP) must take English language proficiency tests. The data below shows the minimum requirements for both undergraduate and graduate students. However, students are encouraged to achieve higher grades.

• IELTS - 6.5 with no band less than 5.5
• TOEFL-iBT - Overall 79 (18 Listening, 17 Writing, 20 Reading and 17 Speaking)

For Postgraduate-

• IELTS - 6.5- 7.0 with no band less than 6
• TOEFL-iBT - Overall 91 (20 Listening, 19 Writing, 21 Reading and 20 Speaking)
