Academic requirement - undergraduate degree at First or 2:1 Honours (or international equivalent)

To apply for MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management, you should have a First or Upper Second Class Honours degree or the international equivalent in any discipline.

MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management is not a highly quantitative programme and is open to graduates from all disciplines but candidates are expected to be familiar with a basic knowledge of maths before the start of the programme. Successful candidates will be provided with access to online primer courses in basic mathematics and accounting to prepare you for the programme from July onwards and will be tested on this in Induction week. Please familiarise yourself with the online primer content prior to applying so that you are clear about the topics you will be covering in the early stages of the programme.

Whilst there are no specific ‘A’ Level criteria for admission to MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management, you should be aware that some companies have very strict grade requirements for their graduate programmes. Therefore, we strongly recommend that when you are considering your career options, you research the entry requirements of any companies you are interested in working for.

MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management is designed for new and recent graduates with up to three years’ work experience.

Candidates with more than three years’ work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and may wish to consider applying for the Imperial MBA. The MBA provides a good foundation in the fundamental areas of business and a portfolio of electives, with a specialisation in innovation and entrepreneurship.

GMAT

GMAT is not required for MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management, but a well-balanced GMAT result with 650 or higher overall and a good result in the quantitative reasoning section will add weight to your application.

English language requirement

• IELTS (academic): A minimum score of 7.0 with minimum scores of 6.5 in all elements
• TOEFL iBT: A minimum score of 100 overall with minimum scores of 22 in all elements
