About

The Royal School of Mines, the Royal College of Science, and the City and Guilds College merged to form the Imperial College of Science and Technology in 1907. The school's official name changed to Imperial College Business School in 2008. The word "business" was added to the Imperial College mission statement, indicating the school's increased respect. Future business leaders are inspired by Imperial College London Business School. Through the fusion of business and technology and an entrepreneurial mindset, Imperial College London, a leader in science and technology, drives business advantage.

 

As part of Imperial College London, a global top 10 university and leader in science and technology, the members of the college integrate technology and business to drive global business, social transformation, and an entrepreneurial mindset through 13 Master's programmes, four MBAs, a newly launched undergraduate programme, a Doctoral programme, and a Summer School. The world-class research informs programmes are sought after by governments, policymakers, and global business leaders, who frequently collaborate with us on research projects. The Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 recognised the quality of Imperial's research, and this marks the College's best-ever performance in a research assessment exercise, with improvements in every Unit of Assessment. ICBS does not offer undergraduate courses, but it does offer a wide range of master's programmes, including the Imperial MBA, Imperial Executive MBA, Global MBA, joint Master's programmes, and a Doctoral programme.

Imperial College Business School is a division of Imperial College London. Every year, a large number of international student attends the school. In addition to the MBA, the school admits students to 9 MSc programmes, 8 specialised master's programmes, and Executive Education courses. The school currently has 2,000 postgraduate students, including international students from 103 different countries. Imperial College Business School facilities include-

 

  • Student Services: Students can take advantage of a variety of events, seminars, career fairs, and guest lectures. They can also use the Business School Careers Clubs, workshops, networking opportunities, and the Careers and Professional Development Service to help them achieve their goals.

  • Library Services: South Kensington Campus is home to the Central Library. It has a variety of study zones to suit your needs, and each floor is designated as either group, quiet, or silent study to help everyone find their preferred work environment. The Central Library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Imperial College Business School Entry Requirements

Imperial College Business School has a stringent admissions policy. Only 53 students were accepted for the full-time MBA programme based on the MBA class profile 2021-22. 180 students were admitted based on the class profile for the MSc in Management. As a result, international students applying to the school should have a competitive GMAT score of 600+ and an IELTS score of 7.0+. MBA admissions also require a minimum of three years of work experience. For admission to graduate programmes, Indian students must submit a 7/10 or 60% or higher.  International applicants must meet both country-specific and general Imperial College Business School entry requirements-
