• Applicants will normally hold a undergraduate law degree at 2:2 or above (or equivalent).
• Alternatively, an undergraduate degree in any subject at 2:2 or above, plus a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL).

The SQEs will eventually replace the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and become the only way of qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales.
