UK
 

• Applicants should normally hold an upper second-class honours degree or above in a health, sport or relevant science related subject (including level 6 English and mathematics). Other degree level qualifications may be considered with relevant work experience which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
• All students who meet the admission criteria are interviewed following a values-based recruitment process.  Enrolment is subject to undertaking the course selection process in accordance with the faculty’s policy and procedures, a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance and a satisfactory occupational health screening check clearance.
• Satisfactory health clearance and enhanced criminal record disclosure is also required. As part of the health clearance checks you will be required to provide information about your immunity and vaccination status. You will also be required to provide information about your COVID-19 vaccination status. We therefore recommend that you are fully vaccinated including the COVID-19 vaccine. The information you provide will be used to determine your eligibility to go on placement(s). Placements are provided at the placement provider’s discretion. The University is therefore unable to guarantee the provision of placements or the location and type of placement offered.

International
 

• Students must achieve 60% in a 3 Year Undergraduate Degree or 55% in a 4 Year.Undergraduate Degree Students from the following Universities will be considered with 55% in a 3 Year Undergraduate Degree (unless applying for Health and Life Science courses): Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai (Madras), Anna, Amity, Andhra Pradesh, Aligarh Muslim, Pune, Bangalore and JNTU.
• 65% in Standard XII English language from certain examination boards only (Central boards, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Uttarakhand)

• IELTS 6.5 overall with no component lower than 5.5 (except where course requirements are higher) and other acceptable SELT tests such as the Pearson Test of English (PTE).
• Students not meeting the above can take the Coventry University English Test.

English language requirements
