About

Situated in the city of Coventry, students can find the public research university called Coventry University (CU). The Coventry School of Design was established in 1843, which is when CU first appeared. From 1970 to 1987 it was known as Lanchester Polytechnic. Later on, the university was called Coventry Polytechnic till 1992. When it was granted university status, it was renamed to its current title.
