Coventry University is a public research university situated in Coventry, UK. The Coventry School of Design was established in 1843, which is when CU first appeared. From 1970 to 1987 it was known as Lanchester Polytechnic. Later on, the university was called Coventry Polytechnic till 1992. When it was granted university status, it was renamed to its current title. Due to its deeply sown roots over the years, the university is very well-known among international students who want to pursue their higher education in the UK.
The University of Warwick and CU are the two universities in the city, with CU being the larger one. It is the sixth-largest institution in the nation overall and the fastest-growing one outside of London.
