Program Overview

​This Foundation year is designed to facilitate access to a wide range of full honours Engineering and Computer Science based degrees within Cardiff School of Technologies. The foundation year is intended to prepare you for your subsequent years of studying, offering you the chance to strengthen your skills, knowledge and confidence.

  • Successful completion of All India or State Board HSC with minimum of 50% overall average. For Health science subjects, students must achieve a minimum of 55% in Maths/Science.
  • Students with good grades in their Polytechnic / College of Technology Diploma (3- to 4-years in duration) OR Students with good grades in their Indian Certificate of Education - awarded on completion of Standard X AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course OR Students with 60% or above in their Higher Secondary School Certificates - Indian School Certificate (ISC) / Intermediate Certificate / Higher School Certificate / Higher Secondary Certificate / All India Senior School Certificate / Pre-University Course - awarded on completion of Standard XII.
