• In IELTS Academic, aspiring undergraduates typically aim for a 6.0 overall score, ensuring none of their sections dip below 5.5. For more advanced courses, the standard is raised to a 6.5 overall score, with at least 6.5 in reading and writing and a minimum of 6.0 in other areas.
• PTE Academic requires candidates to achieve a minimum overall score of 59, with no subsection scoring lower. Advanced programmes demand a higher score of 62 overall, with at least 62 in reading and writing and a minimum of 59 in speaking and listening.
• TOEFL IBT sets a baseline of 72 overall, with specific minimums in each skill: Reading 18, Listening 17, Writing 17, and Speaking 20. Advanced courses require a score of at least 83 overall, with minimums in each skill: Reading 19, Listening 20, Writing 24, and Speaking 20.
