Program Overview

​This BA (Hons) Media and Communications degree at Cardiff Met is designed to enhance your knowledge and skillset in media and communications, as well as foster a deeper understanding of media theories and their application to the world we live in today. The course is developed in a way that allows students to find their own path by covering a variety of subjects whilst enhancing professional writing and digital skills. The undergraduate media degree is unique in its design with three central pillars that form its structure: media theory; media writing; and creative digital practice. 

  • Successful completion of All India or State Board HSC with minimum of 50% overall average. For Health science subjects, students must achieve a minimum of 55% in Maths/Science.
  • Students with good grades in their Polytechnic / College of Technology Diploma (3- to 4-years in duration) OR Students with good grades in their Indian Certificate of Education - awarded on completion of Standard X AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course OR Students with 60% or above in their Higher Secondary School Certificates - Indian School Certificate (ISC) / Intermediate Certificate / Higher School Certificate / Higher Secondary Certificate / All India Senior School Certificate / Pre-University Course - awarded on completion of Standard XII.
