Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) is an English public university with campuses in High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Uxbridge, and Great Missenden. The School of Science and Art was created in 1891, and the university has since been known as Wycombe Technical Institute, High Wycombe College of Technology and Art, and the Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education. The Privy Council granted its bid for university status in 2007, and it was given the name "Buckinghamshire New University," abbreviated to Bucks. Then in 2021, the university received its abbreviation which is used by many students in the current year.
The institution provides in nursing, health and social care, cyber fraud detection, and other fields.
