Program Overview

Are you interested in issues regarding how gender theories can contribute to an understanding of broader social processes?

This programme is an interdisciplinary programme in social sciences. You will learn how current feminist theories in dialogue with established academic disciplines have contributed to the understanding of broader social processes. You will improve your ability to critically examine, evaluate and discuss the field's most important theoretical perspectives and research results.

Entry Requirement
- To be eligible for the programme the applicant must have the equivalent of a Swedish Bachelor’s degree with a major (i.e. at least 90 ECTS credits) in one of the following social sciences disciplines: Development Studies, Gender Studies, Human Geography, Political Science, Social Work, Social Anthropology, Sociology, Sociology of Law or equivalent.
- A good command of English language both spoken and written, equivalent to English B/6 (advanced) proficiency in the Swedish secondary system, is required. Equivalence assessments will be made according to national guidelines.
