Canterbury University Entry Requirements
Students with an international degree (from an overseas secondary school or institution) seeking admission to UC must apply for Admission with Academic Equivalent Standing (AES) via myUC. Students must also apply for admission to their desired qualifications. Students may opt to combine two bachelor's degrees and graduate at the same time. Canterbury University Fees
A student must pay tuition costs for each course they enrol in unless they are enrolled in a Special Fees Program, in which case an aggregate amount is charged. Fee bands are allotted to courses based on their subject area. Apart from those on a permitted reciprocal exchange programme (covered by a written exchange agreement) and those enrolled as a PhD student and residing in Aotearoa New Zealand, all overseas students must pay tuition fees at the international rate. The University of Canterbury fees for overseas students, based on one academic year of study (120 points) will range from NZD 28,800 to NZD 45,000 and can go beyond for MBA students.
