Programme structure
 

This 120-point programme is delivered through face-to-face block-courses at Epsom Campus with online/study-guide support. It comprises two 30-point core courses and 60 points from a choice of elective courses.

If you have already completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Supervision, it is possible to credit the courses passed for the certificate to this PGDipProfSup, leaving only a further 60 points to complete.
 

Requirements:
 

• PROFSUPV 700 The Practice of Professional Supervision (30 points)
  (offered over 3 two-day blocks approximately one month apart)
• PROFSUPV 701 Advanced Approaches in Professional Supervision (30 points)
  (offered over 3 two-day blocks approximately one month apart)
   

60 points from the recommended elective courses in Professional Supervision:
 

• PROFSUPV 707 Supervision Folio (30 points)
• PROFSUPV 710 Stress and Trauma in Health and Human Services (30 points)
• PROFSUPV 712 Critical Approaches in Reflective Supervision 
• PROFSUPV 714 Managing and Developing People in Human Services (30 points)
• PROFSUPV 715 Practice Teaching and Learning (30 points)
• PROFSUPV 716 Special Topic Group Supervision (30 points)
• PROFSUPV 717 Special Study (15 points)
• PROFSUPV 718 Special Topic (30 points)

Programme requirements
 
You must have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university (or similar institution) and be currently employed in health, counselling, social services, legal services, education, human services or similar professional context.
 

You will also need at least three years’ experience in health, counselling, social services, legal services, education, human services or similar professional context.

If you are an international applicant whose first language is not English you will need to provide evidence of your English proficiency.

You will require an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0. See alternative English language requirements.

Fees are set in advance of each calendar year and will be updated on this website. Fees are inclusive of 15% GST, but do not include the Student Services Fee, course books, travel and health insurance, or living costs. Amounts shown are indicative only. In addition to the tuition fees, there is a Student Services Fee of $8.16 per point, estimated at $979.20 for full-time study (120 points). Fees will be confirmed upon completion of enrolment into courses.
