Auckland University Entry Requirements

For consideration for a conditional offer of a seat, international students must be able to meet the university's standards or must be in a position to do so.  Entry criteria are determined by a student's past coursework, and the institution specifies standards for the credentials that overseas students must usually earn. For certain programmes, there are extra admission criteria, and these vary based on the programme selected. Listed below are some important Auckland University entry requirements for overseas students -

  • The candidate must be over the age of 18.
  • The candidate must be in good standing at their secondary institution.
  • 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale or higher (GPAs under 2.75 will be considered on a case-by-case basis based on other parameters with the final decision coming from the university)
  • Sophomore, junior, or senior standing is necessary
  • Recommendation letter(s)
  • English Language Proficiency Test Scores

Auckland University Fees

International students going to study in Auckland will be expected to show evidence of sufficient funds to pay their tuition fees. Depending on the type of the course, its duration, and the structure, students will be expected to pay NZD 25,694 to NZD 42,606 for their University of Auckland fees.
