Program Overview

This practical, environmental science course includes field trips to some beautiful and remote parts of New Zealand. Destinations can include Fiordland, Coromandel or the Central Plateau.

Environmental sustainability is also a focus. The knowledge gained from the course will help you to create sustainable practices within New Zealand.
 

This course is designed as an entry to the Level6 diploma, where you'll gain more advanced skills and knowledge. It includes a focus on research design and environmental and ecological reporting. You’ll also choose elective papers in biosecurity or aquaculture.
