New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management (Level 5)

The programme comprises seven courses:

• Principles of Hospitality Management
• Food Production Operations
• Food and Beverage Service Operations
• Accounting and Finance for Hospitality and Tourism
• Introduction to Tourism and Hospitality Marketing and Communications
• Tourism and Hospitality Business Information Systems  
• Managing the Visitor Experience

• A minimum of 14 NCEA numeracy credits at Level 1 or higher and 50 credits at Level 2 or above with at least 12 credits in each of 3 subjects, including a minimum of 8 literacy credits at Level 2 or higher; or

• Successful completion of a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in hospitality

• Equivalent overseas qualification; and

• IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0 / TOEFL iBT 46 (with a writing score of 14) / PToE academic score of 42 / NZCEL L4; and

• 17 years and over

Domestic Students

• 2022 Programme Fees:   
• NZ$4,270 per 7 courses
• Resource Fees: NZ$910
• Total: NZ$5,180 per 7 courses

Plus a compulsory Student Services Fee of NZ$300 per year (or NZ$30 per month or part thereof).

International Students

• 2022 Programme Fees: NZ$18,585 per 7 courses
• Resource Fees: NZ$910
• Total: NZ$19,495 per 7 courses
