About

The POLIMI Graduate School of Management was originally established in 1979 under the name MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business. This esteemed school now operates as a non-profit Consortium Limited Company. This consortium is a partnership between Politecnico di Milano, a renowned university and a consortium of prominent Italian and multinational corporations.  

 

Politecnico di Milano is organised into 12 Departments and is responsible for formulating research strategies. POLIMI comprises 4 huge schools which are dedicated to the organisation of education. Two of these Schools specialise in Engineering, one focuses on Architecture, Urban Planning, and Construction Engineering and there is a separately dedicated School for Design.

 

Thanks to a robust internationalisation initiative along with numerous study programmes which are conducted entirely in English. This approach has led to a growing influx of highly talented international students who create a diverse community that represents over 100 countries. During the academic year 2015/2016, international students accounted for 22% of those enrolled in Master of Science Programmes.

 

MIP along with the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering, collectively constitutes the School of Management at POLIMI Graduate School of Management. The Bovisa Campus has served as the residence of the POLIMI since 2009 and is the core campus of the School. There are many ongoing improvements as a part of the POLIMI Graduate School of Management’s facilities. A recent agreement between the Municipality of Milan and the Politecnico di Milano signals a forthcoming transformation of the entire Bovisa-Goccia area which promises new and exciting opportunities as well as an inspiring environment conducive to even greater innovation.
