ATU Sligo Entry Requirements

A wide range of international qualifications are recognised for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Obtaining the minimal prerequisites does not guarantee admission to the chosen course. In addition to the basic prerequisites, different courses have specific Atlantic Technological University Sligo entry requirements. These include course requirements, grades, portfolios, and interviews. Applicants must also fulfil the English Language Requirements for their selected course. Some of the mandatory prerequisites when enrolling at ATU would include -

 

• Higher education transcripts or Secondary school transcripts
• Marks Sheets/Score Cards with minimum GPA requirements as specified by the course
• Other relevant academic transcripts (original & translated)
• English Language Proficiency scores
• Financial Documents
• Standardized Test Scores
• LOR (s)
• SOP
• CV/Resume, if applicable
• For PG Courses, applicants are required to complete their bachelor’s degree from a recognised HEI, with scores equivalent to an Irish Baccalaureate
• A valid passport

 

ATU Sligo Fees

 

The programme of study and fee assessment category will affect the tuition costs that students at ATU Sligo will pay. The three fee assessment categories that impact the Atlantic Technological University Sligo fees include Free Fees, EU Fees, and Non-EU Fees. Most overseas students from outside the EU/EEA who are enrolled in full-time courses must pay the Non-EU Fee. Students must fulfil the requirements outlined in the Fees Criteria and Determination and be able to supply supporting documents in order to qualify for another fee category. While the fees may vary from course to course, students can approximately expect to pay -

 

• Undergraduate Courses: €10,500 per academic year 
• Postgraduate Courses: €12,000 per academic year 

 

ATU Sligo Placements

The majority of ATU Sligo's full-time programmes feature placement modules that require students to visit employers' organizations to gain useful job experience. Both the student and the employer benefit from these placements. The placement's duration varies from programme to programme. An academic staff member oversees each Atlantic Technological University Sligo placement and assists both the student and the company throughout the placement.
