University of Waterloo Entry Requirements

One application can be made for multiple programs at the university. There are more than 100 undergraduate programs and almost 200 graduate programs, giving international students more options in both traditional and career-focused areas. Applications are accepted through OUAC for undergraduate programs. The admissions application processing fee is 125 CAD.

UG Admission Requirements

  • Academic transcripts of class X, XI, and XII
  • For GPA, first or second division standing of minimum 50% and above is considered
  • IELTS Score of 6.5 is a minimum requirement

Graduate Admission Requirements

  • Academic transcripts of all courses, degrees, and results
  • For GPA, 75% or equivalent must be there in last 2 years of a 4 year UG program

  • 2 Academic LORs and a profession LOR from a senior level employer
