Bachelor of Mathematics (General and Honours) and Honours Mathematics and Statistics

Our program structure allows every student to explore a wide variety of courses outside of mathematics. For example, in year one you will take four math courses, two computer science courses, and four other courses in any subject for which you have an interest.

Admission Requirements 
The minimum admission average is 70% and the mean admission average is 86%. Six Grade 12 U or M courses, including ENG4U, MHF4U, and MCV4U. 

The tuition fees for Bachelor of Mathematics (General and Honours) and Honours Mathematics and Statistics may vary from $40,000 to $60,000 annually for tuition fees. The fee's prices may get higher for International Students.

According to yearly editions of The Jobs Rated Almanac, which rates the top 200 jobs using such criteria as income, outlook, security, stress and work environment, careers based on mathematics make up the bulk of the Top 10 jobs. In 2015, actuary was first, mathematician was third, statistician was fourth, and data scientist was sixth. Most of the top 100 involved math.
