About
Ontario Tech University (OTU) is a public research university in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. It is also known as Ontario Tech. The primary satellite campus of the university is in the heart of downtown Oshawa, while the main campus is on approximately 160 hectares of land in northern Oshawa. The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) is still the legal name of the establishment, which was established in 2002. The university also added several new buildings to its main campus during its first decade of operation. The secondary campus of the university opened in Oshawa's downtown area in 2011. Ontario Tech University was established as the university's new name in 2018. Ontario Tech University’s acceptance rate stands at 70% with around 11,050+ students enrolled at the university. OTU belongs to one of the numerous national and international academic postsecondary organisations. It is also divided into seven academic faculties.
The college's scholarly projects are directed by seven different resources, the Personnel of Business and Data Innovation, the Workforce of Training, the Staff of Energy Frameworks and Atomic Science, the Workforce of Designing and Applied Science, the Workforce of Wellbeing Science, the Workforce of Science, and the Personnel of Sociology and Humanities. Ontario Tech University Entry Requirements
