Admissions to the UWinnipeg for international students are open for the fall, winter, and spring semesters. It is advisable to apply three to four months before the start of the semester. Students can use the online portal or, if they do not have internet access, they can contact the admissions office for a paper application. The University’s Online Application portal charges an application fee of CAD 120. The University of Winnipeg entry requirements are listed below -

• High school certificate with at least 30 Manitoba high school credits or its equivalent
• Bachelor degree or its recognized equivalent for graduate applicants
• GPA of 3.0 (which is around 83% - 86%) on a 4.0 scale

The University of Winnipeg Placements hosts an annual Career Fair for students to meet with employers from various industries, organizations, and university programs. PepsiCo Canada, Western Financial Group Insurance Solutions, Loblaw Companies Limited, Ka Ni Kanichihk Inc., Birchwood Automotive Group, and others are popular employers or regular career fair attendees. Two years after graduation, UW graduates are reported to earn an average salary of CAD 64,000. The employment rate for graduate students is 95.9% after two years of graduation.
